Greek Cinema in Edinburgh
(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) The Greek Film Festival is returning to Edinburgh for the first time in three years, featuring classic and contemporary films that celebrate the quality and diversity of Greek cinema. The festival will open with the film “A Touch of Spice,” an epic story about the Greek minority in Istanbul. The film knocked American blockbusters off the charts when it opened in Athens and is fast becoming one of the highest grossing films in Greek history. Other films include “Elias Petropoulos: An Underground World” by Kalliopi Legaki and “The Zero Years” by Nikos Nikolaidis. The event began on February 1st and will run till February 8th.
