» Environment-friendly Holiday Homes

The holiday home market should be developed in Greece, but only if it respects the natural and architectural environment, said Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos yesterday, speaking at the 2nd Tourism & Property Conference in Athens. The minister referred to the tourism zoning plan that is currently the subject of public consultation, and added that it is one of the main steps in the creation of a functional framework for investing with clear rules and priorities. The conference was organised on the sidelines of the 2nd International Tourism & Property Show 2008, which begins today and runs until February 24.
