Green Entrepreneurship
Deputy Foreign Minister Petros Doukas emphasised on Monday that the environment can become a strong card in the hands of Greek economic diplomacy, announcing the first conference of a series today (8.7.2008)) at the foreign ministry as part of the “Green Entrepreneurship” initiative. The aim of the conference is to discuss the possibilities of the market and the academic community in fostering “green” products, research, know-how and technology that can be used in the “global struggle for the environment,” Doukas said. The “green” products and services recorded will constitute a new dynamic part of business missions and will boost the Greek economy’s extroversion. The event will be inaugurated by Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis.
