Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis Adressing Great Britain’s Business Elite and Eminent Academics

(GREEK NEWS AGENDA)    Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis was invited to deliver a speech before the Travellers Club, a gentlemen’s club founded in 1819 gathering Great Britain’s business elite and eminent academics.  In his speech, the premier analysed the current, preoccupying financial situation, stressing that the security of the financial system should be the sole objective. He furthermore noted that the Greek financial system has proved its merit withstanding the turbulences due to prior reforms which contributed to its vigour.
