(GREEK NEWS AGENDA)   In an ELIAMEP (www.eliamep.gr) paper titled “Governance in EU Social and Employment Policy – A Survey,”  G. Pagoulatos, M. Stasinopoulou and D. Sotiropoulos examine social and employment policy governance in the European Union since the launching of the European Employment Strategy (EES) and the Open Method of Coordination (OMC). The paper focuses on this new mode of governance’s role of in achieving social cohesion and competitiveness, as set by the Lisbon Agenda.
