The Acropolis Museum Attracts Scores of Visitors on First Day

(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) Hundreds of people –both Greeks and foreign tourists- rushed to visit the museum on Sunday, the first day it opened to the public. Until tomorrow (June 23), only visitors who have booked their tickets through Internet will be able to admire the 4,000 artefacts on display. From June 24, visitors can turn up at the museum and purchase a ticket at the entrance. Themuseum is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. except for Mondays and public holidays.
