(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) K.E. Fleming’s history of Greek Jews, titled “Greece: A Jewish History”” published by Princeton University Press is this year’s winner of the Runciman Award for books published in 2008. The announcement was made at a special ceremony held at the Hellenic Centre in London on May 21. The Runciman Award is a prize – named in honour of late Sir Steven Runciman, the distinguished historian- awarded by the Anglo-Hellenic League annually to a book on Greece or the world of Hellenism, published in English.
