(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) The Greek -Turkish Youth Orchestra, consisting of 45 Greek and 45 Turkish young musicians will give concerts in Turkey and Greece in 2008, conducted by its honorary chairman, Vladimir Ashkenazy. In Greece, the group will perform at the 2008 Athens Festival, at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, on July 29 and at the Ancient Odeon of Patras, on July 30. Anastassios Symeonidis is responsible for preparing the Greek members of the orchestra. Auditions of young musicians will take place on April 12 and 13 at the Athens Conservatory.
