(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) 3DMolSym is an educational program, developed by Molwave educational chemistry software – based at the Department of Chemistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, designed to visualize the symmetry elements of molecules and animate the corresponding symmetry operations in an interactive 3D environment. Molwave’s mission is the production of innovated educational media offering new and enhanced means of learning and communicating chemistry concepts. Lined up with contemporary educational psychology and chemistry learning principles, it develops interactive learning resources featuring the visualization of abstract chemical concepts and the simulation of chemical processes.
