(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) – The National Gallery- Alexandros Soutzos Museum will host a large retrospective exhibition of Nikos Lytras, one of the boldest representatives of early Greek Modernism. Under the title “Nikos Lytras, 1883-1927 Building with light and colour,” the exhibition will by inaugurated by the President of the Hellenic Republic on March 19 and will run until June 2.

Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival

(GREEK NEWS AGENDA) The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival – Images of the 21st Century celebrates its 10th anniversary this year (from March 7 to 16). Organized by the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (www.filmfestival.gr), the 10th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival will present roughly 200 documentaries. Sections wiil include “Human Rights,” “Focus On Asia,” “Faces of Fascism,” and the “Greek Panorama.” A significant part of parallel events include the International Doc Market, as well as various seminars and open discussions.
